Fab 48 Pre-Season Girls Combine
The Georgia Middle School Hoops 2nd Annual Pre-season Combine known as the “Fab 48” is happening later this month.
I personally strive every year (over the past 2 years) to not only improve participants’ individual/team basketball skills, but also to make sure that participants have a thoroughly competitive experience by inviting some of the TOP players in Georgia to attend. This year’s pre-season camp will be on the campus of Athens Academy where we will focus on fundamentals and skill development each session from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm through drills as well as games. I know that players will benefit from being a part of this pre-season combine as many of the girls that attended last year did. At the conclusion of Sunday, we will announce 2023-2024 pre-season awards. I have lined up great speakers for both Saturday and Sunday.
Throughout my time coaching girls’ basketball in Georgia, I have been privileged to see some really great players and they all have one thing in common-they love to compete. This preseason combine will be staffed by quality coaches and games and will be officiated by local certified referees. If you can attend, please read the instructions below on how to sign up and lock in your spot. I look forward to seeing you on August 26th at Athens Academy.

Registration: Registration fees are paid through Venmo: @Michael-Palmer-125. In the message include the player’s name, jersey size, class, and middle school they attend.
